After being worked right up till 1952 the adit became derelict and then the entrance was blown in. It was not until 1972 it was opened again by Ron Amner and friends (including our first Chairman Peter Naylor).  We are in their debt for the work they carried out - now the mine is in the hands of the newly formed Goodluck Mine Preservation Club - and we intend to build on the work carried out; ensuring its preservation for future generations. We are only a small club, but we are very enthusiastic. Why not join us!
